Reiner x Reader - Monsters Don't Exist

You knew he was one of the reasons why humanity had encountered a fatal blow on that fateful day.

You didn't care.

You knew he along with his friend were the ones that can kill you in an instant.

You still didn't care. Monsters didn't exist.

You trusted him with all your might and nothing stopped you from loving him. You love feeling his warm embrace around your small figure. You loved it when he would call you by your nickname. You loved it when he would hold your hand and kiss you gently when you least expected it.

Flaws were no such thing when you were with Reiner. 

"(Y/N), you look really beautiful, you know that?" You felt his voice run through his body, vibrating against you head, which was resting on his stomach.

(H/C) strands of hair being intertwined in his hands, you answered. 

"I'm truly not, Reiner. I'm just... me." He chuckled lightly and ran the back of his warm hand down your blushing cheek. You sat up straight and fiddled with your fingers, smiling. How did I get this lucky, you wondered.

Reiner shifted from his position in the green grass and sat upright next to you. You looked up, (E/C) orbs staring into his golden ones. You smile and rest your head on his shoulder, and he rests his head on yours. 

You grab his hand and make sure to get a good grip. Nothing but happiness fills you. 

"Reiner?" 

"Hmm?" He looked at your features and thanked the heavens silently that they gave him a chance to be with you, (Y/N), a beautiful angel.

You smiled and pulled him in for a kiss. It was nice, gentle, and assuring. Slowly, you both deepend the kiss as he licked your bottom lip, asking for entrance to explore your cavern. You obliged and let him in. Your tongues wrestled for dominance, and of course, like every time, he wins. All too soon, you both pull away to catch some air.

With your foreheads pressed against each other, you quickly peck him on the lips one more time before getting up. Extending an arm for Reiner, you help him up off the moist grass and walk back to the grounds before Levi catches you two sneaking off. He looks at you, observing your (H/C) locks swiftly flowing in the cool wind, (E/C) eyes with determination, your rosy cheeks, and of course the smile that made him love you in the first place. 

"(Y/N),"

"Yes Reiner?" He stops and pulls you in for a last kiss.

"I love you." A smile creeps on your face.

"I love you too." With that, still hand in hand, you both returned home.

It was hard to believe that the man you loved was the armored titan. 

But you didn't care. 

You loved him and he loved you.
